Maverick Ranchero

Even though I swore I wouldnt touch another project for many years, I've always wanted to take a 4 dr and make a Ranchero out of it. I guess it would look something like this. Just cant stay away. Anybody got a good side shot of a 4 door that I can play with?

 

or, perhaps you'd prefer a wagon.

 

I'd like the station wagon!! Time to pick up a nice solid 4-door and start the project!! Wonder if they just hacked up another Ford vehicle in Brazil to make the station wagon.

Ranchero or Rag Top

I like the Ranchero idea better, if you need a Ranchero there is a 61 here in the Shenandoah Valley that you can get for a song.

Instead of a 4 door wagon, how about a Nomad type 2 door?

Ford Made 2 door wagons back in the 50's and 60's. They called them Ranchwagons. I agree that a 2 door Maverick Ranchwagon would be pretty neat.

That Red convertible and the mav-chero both look real good.

I love the roofline and front end on the maverick ranchero, however, not the rear end.

With a little clever work for the rear end, you could have quite a tough looking car.
