Dale and I will be rolling in Saturday morning. So far the weather's looking pretty good, but the weatherman still says it will be HOT. I'll take hot over wet anyday. We'll be bringing plenty of ice water. See you all Saturday! :)

Boy you got that right, Dave. After all those past years of either cold or wet weather, this year it went to the opposite extreme. Last I heard it was 95 degrees Saturday. The hubby and I are still recovering. It may have been blistering hot, but it was still a great time. It was a pleasure meeting you Dave:tiphat: and as always, it was terrific getting together with the other members of the MCCI. Of all the car shows we attend, this is the one we most look foreward to. Just spending time with our fellow Maverick/Comet owners makes whatever weather Carlisle throws at us worth while. There was a good turnout for the Mavericks and Comets. I counted 14 in all and before we left Saturday I saw a tan Maverick cruising around on the road at the bottom of the hill. A great big congrats to all who attended. They were all winners in my eyes :thumbs2:, and I hope everyone made it safely home. Lets all do it again next year.

I am a little sunburnt as well, but still had a great time!! Pretty sure I had a heat stroke yesterday (Saturday)...or at least heat exhaustion. Felt like crap last night and all day today as I drove home by myself for 550 miles.

    Still worth it. (y)

I used to go to Carlisle all the time when I lived in NY ... it's a 10+ hour drive (677 miles) from Cumming, Georgia. Anybody score and interesting parts?
