I just got this note from Chuck Stalnaker at the Maverick Connection:

I just got word directly from Motor Max that the 1:24 scale Mavericks will be released in December. They are not planning to do R/C cars of either of the larger scales. I am trying to talk them into it, but it doesn't sound likely so far. I'm encouraging them to do a 71-72 Grabber version but that hasn't been confirmed yet either.

    No worries...
Maybe with Chuck and I both hitting them up for more models and styles (Grabber/GT) we might have more of a chance of actually getting what we are looking for.
What he has mentioned is the same I heard and said here. So at least the stories/rumors are the same.
    Time will tell.....

    Jay.....

Just came from Wal Mart. I picked up a red and a blue 1970 Ford Maverick. Both have the Grabber stripes. Only had one of each.
