well i needed a break from the maverick builds so my dodge is moving forward fast ,i have pulled the frame out from under the truck and striped it of all wiring and brake lines ,off to the sand blaster ,i will post pics tonight of the frame after its blasted and in epoxy primmer, and also painted black.Ive already sent the cab, fenders ,grill, hood, running boards, inner fenders to be sand blasted also .Im looking at putiing a 354 .Hemi in it if i can pull off a deal.

Thanks Matt ,i think hands down this will be the nicest vehicle ive ever built ,ive always loved half ton trucks pre 1948.This will be my spring and summer cruiser.I still love my Mav but its turning more into a full blown race car than a street car .When i finish my 69.5 then ill have a sweet street mav ,but thats on the back burner for the next 6 months .

Darren,im planing to go either mustang two front clip or dodge Aspen/volare front clip for disk brakes .Rear end either a 8-3/4 out of a dart or a 8 inch from one of my Mavs.Im going to go with tilt sterring/cruise control with a 727 dodge trrnny ,power windows.Engines 318/360 and if i can pull off the deal im working on a 354 Hemi. The main body of the truck will be Silver Met and the fenders a Gun Barrell Grey Met.

For thoughs following this build, picked the cab up today from the Sandblaster .Sanded down the underside of the cab and painted it rustnot black,it will be rubber mounted to the frame tomorrow .This build is moving very quickly as the 1941 truck was 95 % rust free.We will box in the frame next to handle the big power it will have compaired to the 90 hp it use to have, lol, them mock up new front suspension, motor mounts and tranny mounts.
