I'd love to have that car.
I'll give you $60 for it.

Randy, I own a '66 Galaxie XL. I will tell you right now that nothing interchanges on a '65 or a '66 with any other Ford car except drive train and some suspension parts. Though they look similar, no sheet metal or glass on a '65 can be used on a '66 and vice-versa. If you have metal or glass that needs to be replaced, start looking for a parts car now. The only parts I know of that are reproduced are some rubber pieces and I think Dennis Carpenter makes front floor boards for the 2-door only. Your best resource for Galaxie info is the Ford Galaxie Club of America. Join it.

But, for $50, you may have a contender for deal of century.

Thanks guys. I'm told it runs, but I haven't tried yet. I hope to get some time this weekend.

    Terry,
It needs some work in the quarters and I need a passenger side glass. It sounds like parts may be hard to find. :(

I dumped some gas in the carb the other night and got it to fire. I think it'll run if I get some gas in it.

Not really, only 3 three times harder than finding good sheet metal for a Maverick.:(
