I do shop at Harbor Freight, but I usually avoid anything other than hand tools there. I have just not had any luck with anything they sell there that uses electricity whether it plugs in to the wall socket or even just batteries. A lot of stuff there seems to be real bottom-of-the-barrel items. On the other hand, I do like a lot of what I see at Northern Tool.
I like a lot of what Harbor Freight has, but I try to buy mostly hand tool type of stuff there. I did find a Snap-On timing light at a yard sale for $10 last summer.
Almost anything Snap On for ten buks is a deal. Hey New, alot of timing lights are like that, i've had several. The sunpro works pretty good for me...hmmm, sunpro.
Snap on for $10? You should have been arrested for stealing! I bought an Equus Pro light a couple years ago when my old Sun light gave up.
I've had my old Craftsman timing light for about 25yrs, and it still works just fine. It just doesn't have the advance feature. Great light!
