    Very cool!!! Torino GTs' are getting as hard to find as hens teeth.Its good to know another one has been saved from languishing away to nothing.

    It was an original 2bbl cleveland car but it has a 429 and a C6 in it now so it should be a pretty fun car once we get it going

    Sweet, my cuz , same age as me,bought one just like that brand new, same color,had white interior, loved the nascar versions of that car and the pro stock mavericks/comets in early 70s!

    '72 Maverick, 347 c.i., w/ dual quads, TKO 600 5-speed transmission, back halved w/ 4-link, '16 F150, 5.0 Coyotte, regular cab, shortbed, lowered 3/5 & 1-owner '79 Trans Am.
    '72 Torinos are awesome looking cars! We almost bought one as my wife's daily driver centuries ago. It was yellow with buckskin interior, 351C and automatic. Good luck with the project and keep us posted.

    im still on a quest to find a 73 grand torino to restore for my daddy. when he was a kid it was the car he wanted and couldnt have. could afford the payments and the insurance. just not the gas :slap:
