I'm looking for a picture or even measurements of the early heater box WITHOUT AC . I have a box here but I'm not sure what its out of. I'd like to have something to compare it to. So if anyone has a early MAv (with package shelf) with no AC and has the box out of the car. It would help me out . Thanks. Russ
2 holes on the cowl? if your refering to the large round openings (one at each end) then it is not a factory ac car. Factory ac only has the opening on the passenger side.
The only opening on that car was the passenger side, the driver side had no vent. so i saw it as an ac car as well.. but heres another question, my 69.5 had ac and has (or should i say had since it rusted away) a vent on the driverside, could the air in my car have been a dealer ad on??
I am not exactly sure, but I believe that the Non AC heater boxes are the same all through the years.
I thought that was an AC Car Wes. Steve I guess my eye sight is getting bad. I thought I saw two holes. Damn now I need glasses and focus factor. whats next Geritol? Ok if all non AC heater boxes are the same does anyone have a picture of one out of the car? I'm not sure if this one I have laying in the garage is even out of a Mav. I'd like to make sure before I drain all of the coolant. Thanks again Guys. Russ
I thought I had a heater box out in the shed to take pictures of but couldnt find it. Here's a pic of mine when I was putting the Sprint back together.
On Maverickgrabber.com I have 2 exploded views, and in the interchange it is listed as identical to a 71-73 Pinto and 67-73 Mustang (w/o AC) http://www.geocities.com/cping3/explodedviews.html
You da man Charlie. I forgot all about your site with all of the technical stuff. Thanks. It look like I have the correct box. All I need to do now is install it. Thanks again. Russ
