the toys r us right across the street from my school has a whole bunch of these if anyone wants one i'll buy them and sell them back for original cost+shipping. they were $4.59 ea.
i need to get to the toys r us here. was in walmart today, they had 1 yellow 1/24 maverick and a primered 1/24 comet. funny thing, when we were in there the pa system came on and they said "all customers and employees immediately evacuate the store." they even moved us to the other side of the parking lot. we went and got some lunch and when we got back thy were just reopening the store. our full cart was still where we left it. found out later someone called and said there was a bomb in the store.
The local TOYS R US had one JL Coca Cola Maverick so I picked that up the for Christmas Tree. They had two 1/24 Comets in Brown ... didn't want them so their still on the shelf. I did pick up a Carol Shelby edition 1/64 2007 GT 500 and 2007 Shelby GT ..
