I have recently purchased my '76 Maverick Stallion. I am so in love with her. My '90 5.0 Mustang had recently been totaled and I was anxious to get back into a Blue Oval. I was perusing a couple of boards classifieds sections when I came across this car. My mom had a Maverick when I was a kid (a 69.5 6 cyl.). So I was very intrigued. I talked to the guy for a week or so via e-mail and we decided on the price. I drove up to Dallas from Houston to pick her up, and have been in love ever since. She has a newly freshened '89 5.0 roller motor, Edelbrock Perf. RPM intake, Holley 650 DP, C4 w/3000 stall, B&M MegaShifter, 9" rear w/Powertrax locker & 31 spline axles. I want to get her painted in her original color scheme, but I probably won't be able to do that for a while. Anyway here's what she looks like now.
