    Hey all,

Been in contact with my buddy at MotorMax again and I'm sad to say it looks like we are going to have to wait until February before they hit the shelves at Walmart. (I'm still working on getting a special deal for us again) Here is a couple of quotes from two different emails he sent me over the past few weeks...

    Email from late November:
"Unfortunately, the 1:24 is still not ready yet. There was some back and forth approval and changing required from Ford that put us behind the schedule".

    And this from yesterdays Email:
    Jason,

"I don't know all the details, but I know that the model is approved, and is waiting for the final polishing touches before it goes into production. We would still need to get the package art approved, and we should be able to get products into the U.S. February 07".

Looks like there are plenty of hoops to jump through in introducing a new product to the market. The good side to this is it must be a pretty spot on version for them to be having so much trouble getting approval. From what I have seen in the 1:24 Pinto it should be nice...

That's all I have for now,
    Happy Holidays Everyone!!!
    Jay.....

I always include us all as "members" or "our group" when asking questions or thanking them for keeping "us" up to date with developments and progress. Also, I went that extra step and sent an email to the lady that was in charge of the "case of Mavericks promotion" As I understood it these were done for us. I also sent a 'thank you' to the big-shots overseas. So, not to worry as far as "ALL OF US" being included in any corespondence (sp) with them.

I just saw the 1/24th Pinto for the 1st time today at my local wally world. It looks great, so I'm sure the Mav will be as nice or better. :bouncy: Wonder how many color choices there will be?

    Thanks for the updates!
