    Maybe! Id say with a bit more practice, things will look really good! I had a few old crankshafts laying around,,,, set em in there,, welded up all the journals,,,, I was impressed by how it does it. Just got to watch the counter balances on the ends of the machine,, those things swinging,, can hurt ya!! Its a submerged arc, Storm Vulcan 150B, can weld a 96 inch crank, up to 12 inch stroke! Found a fella that would grind them, if I gave him access to it,,, not a bad trade off I suppose!! Wonder how much exactly,, how much a 302 can be stroked out. :huh: Guess will find out some day!     347 is about the limit with a 302. There isn't enough room for rods and swing in that small block for more than that. Now a 351W could take a lot more stroke than it has. I know you can go more than four inches....... Rods get short if you go much more stroke than that I think.
