    Hi All,
I don't need a brand new windshield, but I thought that the information I found was important enough to post here for you all. I saw an add for classic auto glass in a car magazine (news paper freebie sorts) and then called them up. Apparently they make all sorts of classic auto glass, and can even date code and tint it for the originality factor if that is an issue for you. Their website is www.classicautoglass.com , and their phone number is (800)828-2212. They quoted me a windshield at $150, and shipping as $85 from their location in Minnesota to here in Northern California. So basically if anyone needs a new windshield, here is a source.

When I was searching for an OEM windshield, I called them. They don't make 'em, they just buy aftermarket and polish off the new logo and stamp/etch an old style logo on it. I ended up just buying a PPG. The local glass shop had it in stock, and it was really dusty :) I think it was $155 installed.

Just picked up a PPG windshield at a local autoglass shop for $130. Said they do not install glass in old cars though ...
