The other day I took my car to a car wash since I do not have access to do it myself here at school, and on the way back the stereo just completely cut out on me. It wouldn't turn back on until I pushed the little reset button and it works now. But now my front speakers aren't doin anything. I checked all the connections, and the speakers aren't blown out. The only thing I can think of is somehow after the car wash water got down in my package tray, so I think that may have something to do with it. Any ideas?

If u have a newer model rx, and Im assuming u do cuz u mentioned reset button. Have u ck the menu to make sure fr spkrs activated? When u reset u normally return to default mode.
    Default mode maybe 2 channels.

Thanks. Next time I go to the car I will check that. I checked the fade and that's how I found out the fronts weren't working. I'll have to go through the owners manual and see how to change that. And it is a newer Kenwood head unit.

Ok. I hope that resolves ur prob. I like that new altenator. Im in the market to get me 3G-130 amp as soon as it gets warm enough here to work on the car. I have a Kenwood in my DD and a Dual in my Comet resets clears all thing programed in memory.

Yeah, I put that alternator in so I could run the Taurus electric fan. But now I don't even have that so I've got plenty of power to run all my accesories.
