    I have a 98 4.0 V6 Explorer Sport ... it has 4 o2 sensors ... two are pre-cat, two are after-cat (two cats, too).

As far as I know, the only difference on mine is the length of the cable that comes with them, and that they are interchangeable otherwise. There are many other applications that mine are listed for over several models of Fords and many years, too.

There are also universal o2 sensors that are available for mine, where you attach the plug at the length that you need.

I subscribe to this discussion board as well ...

A search there could turn up the answer that you need. That board is HUGE. If you make a post there, it hits the second page in a hurry. Searching there does turn up a lot of info, though.
