    The Maverick SUV has been around in Europe for many years. It is based on the Nissan Terrano.

    The fact that they're calling an SUV a "Maverick" is very sad indeed...

    oh I dunno I can see a Maverick SUV really, but not based on no rice crap thats for sure. Heres how i'd do it.. Take an early 70's Mav or Comet either will work :). Raise the suspension about a foot and a half, convert to 4 wheel disc, use large truck/SUV Tires, convert to an All Wheel Drive Drivetrain and there ya go Maverick SUV :). Oh and for the hell of it use a 351W for added power and torque, dunno about tranny i'm not too familiar with All Wheel Drive systems but there is always room to learn. Unfortunatley with the Mav's stock chassis it wouldn't be very effective off road even with all that
