Ok all you So Cal Maverick Bone Heads... yes its time a year again! Fabulous Fords Forever at Knott's! April 27th 2003. If you guys are sick of going to this show and seeing 1000 Mustangs and 500 1932 fords then you need to get off you Ford butts and go to this site http://www.fordcarclubs.org/ and print out your form enter your Maverick or Comet in class #29 and mail it in b4 April 11,2003. If you saying my car aint done yet, thats no excuse.. i say if it runs its done! Mine ain't done either.... but i'm gonna make it unless it blows up! So be there or buy a chevy!

Ok anyways.... this is what I’m going to do we are going to meet up a bit before the show open to do a small little cruz down to Knott’s. I am going to have some of us meet in Hacienda Heights off the 60 fwy between 7:15 and 7:30am and then cruise over the hill to Beach blvd and head all the way down to Knott’s. from there. Sorry if you live down south or live right next door to Knott's but with my foot down this is where I’m going to have the meeting spot.

So if you are interested in going down together then let me know and e-mail me @ maverickman@maverickman.com so I can get a head count so we can either wait for you or not wait for youat that location at 7:15 – 7:30 am.

Get your cars ready cuz I’m hoping there will be a lot more Mavericks there then just four.

Hope all is well and hope to hear from you all.

    The Maverick Man

    Question from the heartland:

It is my understanding that if you pre-register...you get in. Otherwise, if you try to show up on show day...they eventually "sell-out" and cut off entries that day.

    Is this correct?

Considering that I already paid to enter our other car, and to rally race it I can't. Anyway next year the shows will be on different weekends! I will have to live vicariously (sp?) through you guys. By the way does anyone know what happened to having a mini-meet at LACR? Thanks
    Jeri

P.S We have an 84 300zx all original with 70,000 miles only the 2nd owners (his grandparents owned it originally) and a 77 280z with a fairly moded engine with intake, exhaust, euro damper, upgraded cam, mild suspension work and it just got painted this past August! Wish us luck to win the show!

I would love to partake in the cruise, except that the car is STILL not ready, I know I suck....

I do have 2-5.0 mustangs I would love to cruise with you, but I am sure you dont' want a stang raining your parade...regardless, I am sure to hang out
