ok manual tranny guys need your help

    I'm installing a T5 in my mav, using the manual mav pedals and mustang clutch pedal. everything is looking ok excpet for one thing, on the mav pedals there is not a stop, for the clutch pedal. for pushing the clutch or letting it out. could this cause any problems? is over travel a problem?

    My clutch pedal goes to the floor, always did. No problem with over-travel. Not sure anymore about a stop at the top of it's travel. I'll look tomorrow. If the linkage is adjusted right I don't think you'll have a problem. I do remember I took out the large return spring up under the dash years ago. Made pushing the pedal easier.

    are you running cable clutch or hydraulic?

    Neither. Mechanical linkage from a '66 Mustang.

    Every manual I've ever owned has always gone to the floor. I've never had a problem.
