My uncle had one. He enjoyed it, but it ended up costing him quite a bit of money for things that went wrong fast, so he sold it

Which engine does it have? I have an '04 Stratus, which (I think) would be a derivative of the same platform. DOHC 2.4 liter. In 5 years and 70,000 miles I've only changed tires, plugs, brakes, wiper blades, filters and oil.

with my family exp with Chrysler its a hit or miss lol. Had a concord that we replaced two motors and a lebaron that went 250k before my sister totaled it. We now have a 300m that's parked because the cam senser went bad and wont run. Just putting in my 2cents

I have dealt with many of them over the years...TAKE HEED...Just walk away. They are bad news...The 4 bangers eat head gaskets...the trannys are no good...they like to drop the diff and blow a hole in the case. They eat front end parts like a fat kid eats candy.Oh if you decide to change the gas filter...you have to drop the tank. The 2.5 6 cyl is decent but they have distributor problems and the fuel rails rot out on em.
If you are looking at a newer one with a 2.7 liter V-6...That engine is a hand grenade waiting to go off...Once again...Just walk away, dont buy it...

FWIW if you believe anything Consumer Reports has to say they're not only ONE of the worst cars made but THE worst car made. Continuous rankings at the bottom of the list for reliability.
