I want to do something different with regard to tail lights. What do you guys think? These are from a 69 Camaro. Use your imagination, as my PhotoShop skills are lacking.

    Cool.

That's a very unique look. I can't say I've ever seen that before. A trendsetting visage, for sure!

    Yours,

I would have to say I am not a big fan of mixing "brands" (ie, Chevy on Ford, etc).

I would suggest 1970-1971 Torino lights. They look real similar to the Camaro lights and it would be all Ford.

Is it a '71 Maverick or is it a Mopa......
The lines of the taillights look alittle goofy (upper outer corners), but that's about what color I want for my next project after this one is done.................

    Stefan...

I think you posted that picture last year sometime... it was in a set of 6 or 7 of the same car. I think maybe it was a car show up in your neck of the woods somewhere. I used it because it was the first good straight-on rear view that I could find on which to graft those Camaro tail-lights. Besides, I really dig that color! That car's interior is awesome too.

    Original Picture

Here's the original picture of the Camaro. I think the scale of the lights are a little off, as in they look bigger on the Maverick than they would actually be. Like I said, my PhotoShop skills are lacking. I also thought about 67/68 Camaro, with the big square-looking bezel and recessed lights, but I think these preserve the original lines better.

I think 70 Torino GT taillights would look good on it. If you need help finding what you want let me know. I am only about 50 miles from you in Shelby. m1morris@bellsouth.net
