I read in one of my maverick sales brochures that you could get an AM/FM/Stereo with two speakers in the rear deck, and it said that they also had speakers in the doors. Now, I know most mavs have am radios, all maverick in fact that i have seen have am's. I just wanted to know if the mounted speakers in the doors. I know on all the big fords, mid-size, and pintos, etc, all have speakers in the doors. I have never taken a door panel of a mav so i dont know if it has the outline for speaks on the back

The front speakers were in the kick panels, not the doors.

Yup, the brochures were wrong on that count. First year for factory AM/FM
    Stereo in Mav. was 1973.
