overheating problem fixed

    just wanted to send out a big thanks for the help on my overheating problem. it did turn out to be the radiator as most of you sugested. i did go ahead and put in a 160 degree thermostat and filled it up with 40 below coolant. it now idles at a constant 165 degrees. thanks for the tip. im new to building fords. i am to used to chevy motors. these are backwards to me:bananaman

    Naaa, Fords are not backwards, their correct. Your just used to backwards and now your comming around.

    well if you were a chevy man, you're probly good under the hood.....heaven knows you've had lotsa practice whether you wanted it or not!

    Chevies with plugged radiators run hot too.
