Sooo... I used to have thousands of pictures of Mavericks on my computer before it crashed. Now I'm lost, lol. So, Can i see some pictures of Mavericks with aero and cowl hoods. Especially the big cowls... I like both looks but I'm not ready to commit just yet, lol.

    It's like 4" I think. It's a u.s. body hood. Lift off. It's been on my car since like 98 or 99.

Is that mounted on the hood itself.. or you retrofitted it as a fully functional shaker?

Always wanted to add one of these to a maverick or Comet and pretty cool to see. If it's actually functional?.. do you have any open hood pic's?

    Regarding the Torino hood scoop:
It's mounted to the hood, and it's functional. I got it on e-bay. It was really "butchered" - so, it could never fit back on to the air-cleaner assembly as a "shaker" hood scoop on a Torino. Seller didn't know that - so, I got it down to a reasonable price. After JB Weld filler, filing, primer and paint - it was ready for mounting.
I strategically located on the hood, and used Spectre cold air intake parts, tubing, air-box filter, and connected to a Weber carburetor snorkel "hat"; it is fully functional.
