    On my comet
on the rear are D78 14
on the front are L60 15

i want the change the front only...they are old tires 2py's
wanted a wider front tire look without ruining the hight too much...dont want to make the car sit weird and look weird etc.

i got yesterday 195 70 14, put them on....but i dont know man....did i do right ? looks ok i guess... maybe i think i should of gone taller and wider. tire guy said he would do me the favour of exchanging them...
any recomendations. or should i leave them
sorry no pics of the new tire on the car....just old pics of the origingals in my pictures

    I would have gone with a 205 or a 215.

I have 215-70-14s on stock rims up front.
245-60-14 out back. Again, stock rims...
That combo looks pretty good with the 6" rims.

i have 215 70 14 on a 14x7 rim and i think the tires are a little too wide for that rim

    i am debating on a 215 60 14 or a 225 60 14 on the 14x7 rim

Did you mean "the rim is too wide for the tire"?
That is what I would think, because that same tire on my stock 6" wide rims is just right, if not a little stretched.
