so i'm currently performing the legendary I6 --> V8 swap. I'm very happy so far, but still a ways away.

My question is, how is the power steering pump on the V8 similar/different than that on my I6. I've noticed a few subtleties... different pulleys, and the V8 pump is almost completely destroyed.

Anyone who could offer info as to whether i need to get a new V8 pump or use my I6 pump, and/or info on the design of Ford power steering pumps at this time, would be very helpful.

    Thanks.

All the pumps I've seen on these care were the same between 6 & 8. Only the bracketry was changed.
