ok so im gathering my parts for my 250 - 302/351 swap. my car currently has manual steering and manual brakes. i just want some opinions on whether or not i should put power steering and the brake booster in my car when i do the swap. my parts car has all the power steering, brake booster, front disc brakes, etc (the manual steering dosnt bother me one bit, i kinda like it)

I drove my manual steering six cylinder car for 30+ years. Loved the road feel that it gave but hatted parking it, especially with a smaller aftermarket steering wheel. When I went to 302, I installed power steering. Glad I did. Road feel is ok, no leaks and I can now park it.

If you don't like it, you can always take it back off again.

Power brakes is a must. I converted my car to manual steering, and really enjoy driving it. Although, turning/parking etc. is a two hand operation.

i have all the parts for power steering, so if i feel i dont like driving the car with the v8 and manual steering, i guess i could always just install it

I would leave the power steering out. It will free up some room for a turbo.
