Thought I'd share progress on a car we are building in my shop right now....we painted the chassis this weekend. It's a real '93 Cobra that we are restomodding with a road race theme.....It's the first/only '93 Cobra ever put on a rotisserie from what I have seen. it's going to have a new Boss 302 block based stroker with Vortech supercharger and 6 speed. We've also retrofitted an IRS from an '03 Cobra into it. I need to get some more customers cars out of the way so I can get some time to put some paint on the Maverick...although my '65 GT Mustang is in line first for paint before the Maverick.
Looks Nice!! I used to work with a guy that still has his 93 Cobra that he bought new, and it still looks new.
Very nice! Another member here, Tim Holland (mtrhed) has a shop a few miles from my house. Among the several awesome cars he has in his shop, is his '93 Cobra that's in perfect unrestored condition.
The customer I am building this car for has a Teal '93 Cobra that a friend of mine bought brand new he recently bought since my friend was going through a divorce....50K on it....he also has a 2000 Cobra R and a 1986 Competition Prep SVO Mustang. There are quite a few low mileage 93 Cobras still out there....and a few that have been rode hard and put away wet. There is a Nissan dealership in Texas that has a NICE car collection of mostly Mustangs and they have at least 4 very low mileage '93 Cobras there.
Ad reads: "Nice 93 Cobra - Low miles (1800) - Only driven on sunny weekends 1/4 mile at a time." What do you mean hard miles? The oil has been changed every 12 miles!
