Tried to start the Grabber today after it had sat for a few years.

Question, I was able to get it to fire up when feeding the carb some gasoline, but then dies. I changed the fuel filter and put fresh fuel in the tank. When I pulled the fuel filter off to change it, the line appeared dry. I thinking it is fuel pump.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

well since the engine is cold (since it won't run) pop the fuel line off at the carb side of the fuel pump. have a buddy crank the engine. uhhhh make sure you protect your eyes! if you don't get gas flying out of the pump, it could well be bad. put a thumb over the carb side of the pump. dissconnect the tank side of the pump. put another finger over the tanks side hole. again... eye protection... crank the engine and if you feel either suction on the tank side and or blowing on the carb side the pump should be ok... if not change the pump. i got mine off of advanceautoparts.com delivered to my house for 24 dollars. best of luck.
