They may not have the exact part, but I would imagine a GOOD autoparts store would help you in finding one that would work. Have you taken the carb in with you? Might be surprised as to what they have in stock that will work.

Maybe I'm missing something here but just what exactly is so shameful about having a single-barrel carb? My guess would be that the majority of people here with I-6's are running single-barrel carbs.

    i'm not laffing

I just replaced the fuel filter on our 250 i-6 sun. The fitting was a little brass looking 45'(degree) jobber. The filter was straight though, and the 2" fuel line they give you w/it was waaay to short. have a small, not even dripping, leak there now though. Does reg teflon tape work, or use something else?

I too found that the rubber hose supplied with the the filter is too short, so I didn't use it. Just get a piece of the same diameter hose cut to the proper length at a parts store, and you should be able to screw the brass fitting in a bit more solidly. I've never had to use teflon tape but it can't hurt.

When using teflon tape on fuel delivery applications, just be careful not to get the tape where it might ball up and end up in the carb. In other words, dont take it all the way up to the end of the threads.
