This is the information that I’ve found.
    FRONT
    14x7 w/ 225/60-14s
    15x5 w/ 195/65-15s
    15x7 w/ 225/60-15s
    16x7 w/ 245/45-16s
    3-1/2 or 4 inch backspacing
    Front 17x7 w/ 245-40/17s
    4 inch backspacing.

    REAR
    14x8 w/ 235/60-14s
    15x8 w/ 245/60-15s
    15x8 w/ 255/60-15s or G-60/15s
    15x8 w/ J-60/15s (M&H racemasters)
    16x8 w/ 255/50-16
    3-1/2 or 4 inch backspacing
    18x8 w/ 275/35-18
    4 inch backspacing

Some of the information was found here, I cannot confirm any fitment.

I've run 8" inchers on the Rear , and six inchers on the front on several cars now . Steers well , and I have a modicum of traction in the rears. Works for me .

I run a 255 tire on an 8 inch wheel with a 4 1/4 inch back spacing. I believe a 4 1/2 inch back spacing is also doable.

Check out this site's Garage wheel and tire page. Beware of possible tubbed vehicles for anything wider than a 275 tire or an 8 inch wheel:
