im not an engine person, but i figure since the 250 and 200 use different bellhousings, the blocks are different sizes, but i might as well find out for sure.
    WILL A 250 VALVE COVER FIT A 200?
my uncle found some chrome 250 valve covers for his stang, and was wondering if they'd fit my mav as well. If not, maybe ill just buy a 250 for it. i don't know.
Just a question. now out to find out why the old girl won't run.

I think the valve covers from the 250 will fit the 200 - not sure though.
The bell housing mout is bigger but the bore spacing is the same - although the pan is different!??

Yes, the valve covers will swap, as will the entire cylinder heads.

if they are the cheap chrome covers, you don't want them...
i put a 170 head on a 250 and the stock 250 valve cover fit..

    ...:yup:...

sweet. thanks for the info. ill tell my uncle to go ahead and pick me up one for it. theres a car show on the ninth and i think a chrome valve cover will make a nice touch to my car. it needs all the help it can get. if i can get her running in time, itll be her first show with me.
