Raw Small Block Ford Power

    70 Maverick 2 dr. modified street cruiser, 72 Comet tube chassis drag car
    I havn't been on much...too busy workin my butt off so I could afford something like this... 408 stroker, 900 -1000 hp on motor...1200-1300 hp on the fogger...5.30 to 5.40 on motor...4.80 to 4.90 on the juice, estimated ET.
    Talk is cheap though...time to walk the walk this weekend :)

    How much does the car weigh, with driver?
    That is a lot more engine than most. What kind of transmission? Who built it?

    Going down the track weight is 2525 lbs....tranny is a powerglide that is probably gonna implode after a few passes, it worked well with my other motor but I think this will be too much for it...not to worry though I've got a straight cut gear set and hardened input shaft ready to go in when it bites the dust.
    David Holton at Superman Motosports built the motor.
