re: a/c removal

    hello everyone. i was going to completely take the stock a/c system out of my 74 grabber (250). the compressor froze up and i wanted to get rid of the extra belts. is there anything i should be catious of? thanks again.

    By law, it is illegal to vent freon into the atmosphere. Its somewhere around a $23,000 fine, plus anyone can turn you in for something like a $12,000 reward. So if your system is still full of freon, either get a company to come reclaim it, or make sure nobody sees you do it.

    What if it's a slow leak? Can you put the fine on installments?:D

    :smash: fixing would be ??????.. ...... mine is a 74 with working ac .......... a 250 I6 ...... man, that is a speedy dude with the a/c on.......:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:........Robert:clap: therefore the working ac is off 99% of the time ...
