does anyone know where i can get my hands on some of the u-shaped washers with the nuts built on that hold the rear spoiler on the trunk lid? a previous owner lost two of mine and stuck regular nuts and washers on it and it has a slight jiggle.

Your going to have to make your own. I look for something to work everytime I've gone to Carlisle but havent found anything yet. Just by chance, you might try a Ford dealer. At least you could get a part number and try some of these places that have tons of NOS stuff.

I have seen 2" washers used. Bend them over to match the contour of the inside of the trunk lid.

My dad made me some things that worked pretty good when I was first buildong my car. He took some small pipe, probably 1 or 1 1/2", and cut one end to fit the contour of the inside corner of the trunk where the hole is. then he took a washer and glued it to the other end. Hard to explain, I need to take a picture. But worked good.

Ok guys here's what will work!

size "0" conduit hangers for 1/2" rigid and emt conduit.

made by Bridgeport Fittings Inc.,part #2100,they do have a web site, but You buy these at any good hareware store or electric outlet the cost less the 25 cents each. Go to there web site and look at the hanger, and You'll see how these will work.
