After reading all posts containing the word "suspension", and knowing my car is going to be primarily an AutoX/road racer, I'm thinking of going with the Rod & Customs full tubular coilover system (listed for $2500 at http://www.rcmotorsports.net/page6.html). I have some questions to ask their tech line about setting ride height and the like but it looks promising so far.

My question for all y'all is how to best configure the rear suspension for corners. Currently I have a big fatty Granada rear end (don't know if it's an 8.8" or 9") with stock highway gears mated to HD springs from JC Whitney. Do you think I need to do any more than put in good adjustable shocks and a 7/8" or 1" rear sway bar?

I'm sure a gear swap is in the works later on as well. Considering that corners are a priority over straight line, should I stick with an open rear end or go with suregrip/posi/whatever Ford calls it?

    Thanks,
    Chris

    lol - I'm planning - not buying

I'm going to use the suspension I have for at least a year... never hurts to gather as much info as possible.
