Before I tackle this on my own. Anyone else do something to keep the rear tray from rattling.

I am probly just gonna put some sort of filler (foam or rubber or something) between the particle board (i think thats what it is) and whatever its rattling against. I will let you know how it works.

If you look in the trunk, you will see there is a rod that goes across under the rear tray. That rod sets the tension for the springs on the trunk lid. That is what used to rattle on my car. I taped bubble wrap around it..

There is suppose to be insulation between the package tray and the metal, someone may have removed it at one time??

My car had some of the insulation left after all those years when I got it. I replaced it with a piece of foam.
