Rear View Mirror Placement

    Could anyone provide me the measurements for the interior rear view mirror placement?
    Mine was missing when I bought the car.
    It’s a ‘71 but I don’t know if different years had different placement.
    Thanks!

    To the center of the lug - 25" from the drivers side and 6" from the top - this is with the glass in the car so measured from the rubber lip of the glass molding.

    I mounted my closer to the top of the glass when I replaced the windshield. The factory location was in my line of site making right hand turns.

    mine was in the stock location and also in my line of sight. I just rotated the mirror 180 degrees.
    that also gave me a wider view out the rear window...:thumbs2:
