Rearend in my 77 Mav?

    Vehicle:
    1977 Maverick 2 door with a rebuilt 200 6. Currently restoring the body and interior.
    What size would a rearend from a 77 Mav be? 8 inch? What gear ratio would a Mav with a 200 6 and a c4 have?

    Mavericks didn't come with 2.73 gears. They had either 2.79 or 3.00.

    The code on the driver's side door-jamb lists the gear ratio...
