I'm currently talking with a manufacture who is interested in reproducing the glass channel weatherstripping for us. I sent them a complete part. I also sent the firewall heater hose grommet. I'm sure there is going to be a minimum order. As soon as I find out more, I'll let you know. How many would be interested in either of these items?

Mavaholic; I am definitely interested! I am using the J.C. Whitney glass run stuff, and it works fine, just would rather have something made for the Mav. The other stuff has only one barb to grab the door, and the original stuff has two. Keep us informed!
    Thanks,

    Earl

Count me in too. Any ballpark figure for cost? Will this be a limited run? Someone who is smart would be wise to snatch up a bunch of them. Would do well on ebay.

I'm not exactly sure what this is... but I assume its the stuff that goes between the glass and the metal... stopping leaks and such? Is this for the windshield or all the windows?

Anyway, my mav is in such bad shape that if the price is ok, I'll most likely need some.

I assume you are talking about the BELTLINE WEATHERSTRP.
Auto Krafters charges $60.00 for the two door set.
I am willing if the price is lower.

Bill; we are talking about the glass run weatherstrip, it is inside the door, and the glass runs in it on it's way to the top of the door.

Bill; it is not the beltline. Those are the glass felts that are horizontal on the door. These are the felts that run up inside the door frame above the glass and seal it when the glass is up. Sorry if I was unclear. Take care,

    Earl

Sign me up for some! You can't have enough of this stuff around. These cars aren't getting any younger and any aid in getting mine fully functional for the day to day world is worth it.
