Rim Question?

    Will 15''x7'' rims with 3.5 to 4'' back spacing fit o.k on a comet? Also what size of tire can you run with these rims, I don't want too large a tire that rubs. Thanks

    The only way you're gonna know is to measure clearances of what you have now and compare to what you want to use. Saggy springs, swapped rears, ride height, etc. can all affect what you can run.

    They should fit fine.255/60 or 235/70 fits well on a 7" rim.If you like low pro,wide tires go with the 60s,if you want to fill the fenderwell,the 235/70 does a good job of that.I've run both & had no clearance problems on my saggy springed '72 Comet.
