Hey guys I am looking for some Adjustable Pedestal Mount Roller Rockers for my 302. The ones we have came from Angus but they just seem weak, we pulled all of them off after our incident at the track and come to find we had TWO that were stripped out, so we ran 14.2 on 6 cylinders...anyway if anybody knows a good company to buy some of these from let me know. Thanks

Well guys all of those are good but they are not the right type of rocker. The ones I have now are Pedestal mount in the center of the rocker and the they have an adjusting nut on the upper side where the pushrod pushes the rocker. so there are two nuts. All the ones that I have looked at have just one mounting point off to the side of the rocker...This design is terrible because the pushrod is pushing the adjustment bolt the hole time, the only thing holding it in adjustment is the THREADS and these things are aluminum....If I can't find any I think we are just going to go with new heads and a stud mount system. Thanks for the help so far...

I'm running the Crane Energizer roller rockers. I needed the pedestal mount (bolt on) type for my GT40P heads. 1.7:1 ratio. They're die-cast, not billet. Crane says they are good for street and "limited racing", whatever that means. Funny part is, I was looking in the Ford Racing catalog and they listed some die cast roller rockers for $291. Jegs listed the Crane parts, which the description sounded similar to Ford's, for $159. I ordered from Jegs. When they arrived I took them out of the box to look at them and they had a Ford oval and a Ford part number cast into them! Looks like Ford buys them from Crane, adds $100+ dollars to the price and resells them. I think I'm in the wrong business!

Forgot to mention, to adjust for proper valvetrain geometry they include an assortment of shims to put under the rockers. Mine worked out ok without using the shims. My pushrods were for a 302 w/ rail rockers. One nice thing I found about the pedestal rockers is that once everything is set up you don't have to adjust the valves if you take the the rockers off then reinstall them. That is as long as you don't change any hardware. Just snug them down and torque them and your done.
