Just some last minute tidbits: - I-70 thru Indianapolis re-opens Sunday. It was supposed to be closed another month, but they got it done early. Now those of you coming in from the West can just stay on I-70 thry Indy and on to New Castle (Exit 123). - I will have the standard club T-shirts with me at the Round-Up, as well as dash plaques from previous year Round-Ups. I will also have back issues of the newsletter with me to sell. - Drag Racing on Thursday nite (of course!!) We will leave the hotel at 4pm Indiana time and drive out to the dragstrip. If you miss the caravan...you can come on out on your own. Once there, the racers will pay the track the money and we will be off and racing. Only MCCI members will be allowed to race per track rules, and only MCCI members, family, acquaintants, etc will be allowed in the track. - After all the recent flooding/rain, the mosquitos are BAD. They have been seen carrying off small farm animals!! Bring lots of OFF! We will be right across the street from a Wal-Mart, so if you forget...you can go buy some. - Finally, I will need lots of help to pull this show off. I need help with registration, parking, classifying cars, judging, running the club store, etc. Please.....volunteer and help us out. Even just for one hour would be great. John Ford has agreed to help out with Drag nite, so he will be the one answering most of the questions that evening, since I know nothing about drag racing. There you go, just 4 days away!!!
Count me in on any help you need, will be there so why not. Should be fun for all and not all work for a few. Hey Craig....how many do we have for the drag night??
One last reminder: I don't know if this racetrack requires helmets or not. Bring yours anyways if you have one....just in case. If you have any extra helmets or have access to any, bring those too. I am sure somebody will need one if they are required.
