Has anyone ever seen shelby tailights grafted to the back of a little mav? It looks like it might be fairly easy.

Nevermind guys i just answered my own question. I found a site that showed the 300 mexican mavericks that were made in 71 with the 69 shelby taillights. Looks pretty cool

You found a picture of the rear of the mexican shelby, could you post a pic or put up a link to the site?

I had a friend who had a 70-72 Mav with 68 Camaro taillights, would have looked better if he had the skill to put them in straight. sorry no pictures of it

    me too...

..I am familiar with the rear end treatment of the
Mustangs in Shelby de Mexico cars, but I have
never seen the rear of the supposed Shelby
    de Mexico Mavericks.

    Let's see that pic.

It's possible I may know someone who has tried that :D

One the first car I put them on the raised portion of the tail light panel (like stock) they fit pretty good. When I made the new car I flattened the panel and only left the raised portion between them. This made them look like thay came on the car.

They are 64 t-bird bezels with 65 t-bird lenses, this get rid of the verticle bars that the shelby's had, I like this look a little better.

    Here's a picture
