I am through building the front end and I need to buy shocks for all four corners.
    -Street Duty only
    -V8 car
    -PST Polygraphite front end pieces
    -7/8 PST sway bar

I'm looking for something with a decent ride but with
    somewhat of a performance shock.

What has anyone had good luck with for this type setup.

On our first cars stock front end we had KYB's I was very happy with them, when we put them on I couldn't believe that just a shock change could make that big of a difference.

We had 620 coils, 1" sway bar, and stock rubber bushings, now we have mustang II stuff.

kyb shocks are kidney pounders. a real stiff ride. i will take the good with the bad. such a difference they make. uhhhh i think we are talking about kyb gas-adjust.

    Yeah, probably gas-a-just.

PST sells them for $119 for all 4.
The local Advance has something called
a KYB GST for $22 and change each, but
    that is only the fronts.

I am not sure that I want 'kidney pounders'.

I forgot to write about the rears I used the mustang 65-70. And modified them by cuting the eyelet off the old shock and welding it to the new shock. I cut the pin off the new shock at the washer flare I also pressed the bubber bushing out of the eyelet.

I would not recomend this unless you can weld, the high pressure body is far enough away to keep from getting to hot. Ground the shaft not the body and cool as soon as possible.

Monro makes a low pressure rear shock for mavericks I see them in the wrecking yard every once in awhile.
