The April 2002 issue of Mustang and Fords magazine has a very good Artical about cutting the shock towers for engine clearance.
Any of you who are considering doing this should check it out.

    MAV,

Could you (easily) scan the article and post it in the Techical Forum?

I can't find the issue (yet) in any local 'Stop-n-Rob' stores.

On another note, did your '69.5 come with an accessory tray?

    Thanks,

    Rick

Yes the 69 1/2 came with a tray under the dash ,as a matter of fact the ignition switch was located on the tray instead of the column. As far as I know All mavericks came with the tray,up until they started the glove boxes in `73 or `74.

I dont know if its legal for me to scan and upload pictures from the magazine. That would be a question for Stefan. But yes I think it would be could to make the entire article available somewere on this sight.

Mustangs and Fords used pictures from my site without asking me but gave me credit(and 15 seconds of fame). So I guess as long as you credit the source, then it would be fine to upload the scans. Just be carefull on the size.
