I diassembled my upper shock mounts to paint them. Now I am trying to remount them but I am having a little problem with the supports going bac to the firewall. Any pointer in how to put them back on?. Should I jack the car up in any given spot to get them to fit ? I loosen the bolts on the firewall, I am thinking maybe I should take them completely off.

Also, anyone going to be at Kool April Nites in Redding Ca?

    Thanks,

    John

I always install the firewall bolts first, loosely. The 3 shock tower bolts have some movement in them to help you get the nuts started. If you're still having problems, you will have to start jacking the car up from different points until you find a good spot. If you're having that much trouble, I would suspect that your car has been in a frontender or it is moving because of excessive rust in the chassis.

    SHOCK TOWER BOLTS

Jacking it up did the trick. Had to try a couple of points but it worked out. Thanks very much for help.
