i have well my father has a 99 f250 7.3 single cab i want to paint for him to show my thanks for raising me. he wants a blue and a two tone. i have narrowed it down to a couple. electric, sonic, ford royal, sapphire blue. and the two tone color will be gun metal or should i do the truck the same as my car? it doesnt have the pipe rack or boxes anymore it has a shell on it. img_0515_original.jpg

i think it would look good blue

pick a color that when you see it it wont look like a stock paint make it pop out above the rest:thumbs2:

My honest advice would be to go to a QUALITY paint store that has a real paint chart that you can take outside on a sunny day to see what the real colors look like. Once you find the blue paint chips, hold the contrasting color choices next to them and pick what looks most eye pleasing to you.

Another choice for the two tone could be a silver blue. Years ago I painted a '69 Nova 2 Mopar colors that worked well, Bonsai Blue (a darker blue) and Spectrum Silver (a silver blue) on the rockers and tail light panel. The two colors turned out to complement each other real well. If one of my Comets were blue, I more than likely would use the same color combination again.

I think it would be kind of neat to have a matched pair.
    Go for it!

yeah because i have a 1/2 gal left from the paint from the maverick so it would be cheaper. how much would a truck take? i love the two one blue with charcoal grey i seen it on a cutlass. the interior is greyish silver so i want it to match
