Does anyone know where a person would get a replacement for the rubber boot that goes on the master cylinder pushrod? The master cylinder I purchased came with the rod, but no boot. I assume (or perhaps I'm assuming too much) that the Ford dealerships would probably not have something like this available.

Stupid question #2: how important is this boot if they don't see fit to include it with the master cylinder? Or do they just expect that those parts will never wear out?

Send me your complete mailing address and I'll send you one. I replaced the MC on my '75 4dr (no power assit) a few weeks back. Never took the old one back for the core. Boot looks good. Send me your email, I'll send a picture.
