speakers up front

    ok so i finally got some small speakers that i planned on putting in the kick panels up front but when i took the plastic cover off the hole is really small and square so i cant put the speaker in it.. has anyone installed any small speakers in a 72 mav? any pics?

    they make square speakers i think...i have a 72 aswell, i'll check one of my kick panels in a few days and see if there square also

    Don't know if the doors are any different, but I put 6X9s in the front doors of my 70.

    well...my first pay check is going towards the 302...not sure where i'll go after that...probably suspension

    nice, i just need around $250 to rebuild the parts like bushings and ball joints then i should be able to pull out the old and put in the new... (probably wont be that easy though)

    I put a set of 5 inch speakers behind the kick panels in my 72 but I had to do a little dremel tool cutting on the square hole in the metal, and instead of speaker grills I drilled a starburst of 1/8 inch holes in the kick panel it's self to let the sound flow through
