Sprint Build date question

    I suppose not since one of my Sprints is listed as 2/72 and the other as 3/72.

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    My understanding is the Sprint package was slated for release in april of 72. That said... February or march build dates should be pretty typical.
    My sprint is an april 72 car.

    That is GREAT info!!!
    Has anyone found a fake Sprint Maverick?
    By Fake, I mean a dealer made sprint. A Sprint that was ordered in 9A and painted to look like a sprint by a local shop to fill a customer order?

    As everyone knows I am a Pinto guy and have found some discrepency in the trim codes. The ones with the questionable codes "KB" have the 73 style upholstery and are missing the blue line hubcaps.
